Welcome to Our World

This past April, a group of local Antelope Valley teens came together with a shared vision: to create a place where young people could discover their potential, develop leadership skills, serve their community, and become compassionate leaders who make a difference.

With the support of Community Development Center USA (CDCUSA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, these teens turned that vision into action. They developed a charter, established leadership positions, and launched AV-TILT (Antelope Valley – Teens in Leadership Training), CDCUSA’s first youth leadership

program. Its flagship team, Leadership League, is based in the West Antelope Valley.  

Through Leadership League, teens are gaining real-world experience while serving the Antelope Valley. Each member becomes a registered volunteer with the American Red Cross and is preparing to participate in meaningful community programs, including:

• Installing free smoke alarms through the Red Cross Sound the Alarm campaign

• Becoming certified in CPR

• Promoting water safety and drowning prevention

• Training to become lifeguards and serve their local communities

• Providing Red Cross Babysitter's Training

• Supporting disaster preparedness and community resilience

• Identifying and developing additional service projects that address needs within our community

We also support outher Community Events & Activities.
